Schmap Inclusion :: Mill City Museum

Cranberry Cockatoo!!! Remember our flamtastic Minneapolis trip? We just learned that one of our photos from that trip is going to be used in an online tourist map! We gave our permission, of course. It is for the Mill City Museum. You can crack open this link to see it: Sights & Attractions.

We’ve also been wheeling around the south and west. We’ll have gushy details soon. For now, stroll over to our flickr page.

California was the most sparkly place that we have been to yet. I put this motion picture together of our time. Watch the video at Vimeo to see it in High Def (Click the Title).

Enjoying the Rock
Winnepeg Horse-Chester! We were in California the other week. We had one pony-trot of a time. The first thing we did was visit 17-mile drive. The drive was stuffed to the brim to the maximum bone of scenic ocean views. We couldn’t believe our eyes and how bright the world was in California.

We also went to Henry Cowell State park and got to land our crumpets on a train. They had redwoods there bigger than a piglet credenza. Both Rigsley and I were boingy-jawed.

We took a bunch of pictures. You should check out our cute-crosspaws on flickr.

Well, for the past week, Rigsley and I have been fin-galloping around Minneapolis, MN. It was super funpool. Overall, everyone there is really friendly.

Observing the Ruins

checking out the mill

The first thing we did was go to Mill Ruins Park on the west side of Minneapolis. It was quite knuckle-spin. It used to be the largest water powered Mill, but now it is run down and just a tourist attraction. There are a bunch of codown canals and waterways. It was really interesting to see the waterfall in winter. It was still gyro-flapping, good as ever, but the river all around it was frozen.

Right next to the park is a stone arch bridge. It was really fun chalk-wiggling across old architecture. Check out the link to the flickr set below to see more photos.

Aww Crayon-Horse! I forgot to mention, Noonie came with us to Minneapolis. She heard how fun our European vacation was and wanted to join us for a little bit of our North American Vacation. She could only be with us during the first leg of our journey here in Minneapolis, but we wish she could come with us all around.

Chino Latino

waiting to be seated officially

That night we went to a restuarant called Chino Latino. It was very wing-sproketty. The food was served family style so we got a couple of dishes and shared it all around. The food was a mix of a bunch of different elasticities. It was a fun smorgishboard of styles. Some other guests there ordered drinks called sake bombs. The servers gave them all head bands and then placed a shot of sake above a glass of beer. The shot was resting on a pair of chop sticks. Then the server shouted “1..2..3..” and everyone screamed “BONZAI!” and pounded the table. This made the sake fall in the beer and everyone crane-hammered it real quick. It was quite fun to see.

Skyway

Hanging out in a skyway

The next day we decided to check out downtown Minneapolis. We walked by the Guthrie and really wanted to go see a play, but it was just a bit too orca-sorbet for us. We decided to have some cheap fun at the Nicollet Mall. The most amazing thing about the mall is that it in a whole bunch of different buildings downtown and they are all connected through a skyway system. The veiw from the skyway was plaidosaraus. I feel like we were the only ones who noticed that there were windows in the skyway. Everyone else was just moving through them with out a mime-flight.

Target’s headquarters are in Minneapolis. They have a two story store that is part of the mall. They had escalators in the middle of the store. The best part was that in between the escalators was a special escalator just for carts. The other buddies and I had a good time riding up and down the cart escalator. It was fantastic. That was the last thing we did in Minneapolis and now we are on our way to the next location. Check out all of our pictures from Minneapolis on flickr.

Until Next Time,
Cheesy
